You probably know that this has been the year for exploration and experimentation over here at Render Boudoir — first I launched skills sessions this spring with In The Spotlight sessions, kept it going in June with Midnight Sun sessions, and NOW, we’re finishing off the year with one last round of skills sessions — this time we’re leaning into the night time look. Using lamps, video lights, and other experimental light that comes from anything and everything — except a window!

Skills sessions are when I’m working on something outside of my normal wheelhouse and I need people to model for me in a no-pressure kind of setting. Learning requires room for trial and error and a good amount of failure, so I don’t charge full price for these sessions because I’d hate for you to spend your money and then have me flop!

So! Here’s the thing: Skills sessions are RISK FREE sessions. There’s NO session fee and no obligation to purchase images. We will set up a reveal session and if we end up with something that you love, yes of course you can make a purchase! I have a flexible and petite mini session product menu waiting for you.
Sessions will be about 45 minutes and will completely focus on after dark lighting scenarios.
I’ve set aside two weekend evenings to work on this look. Here’s what availability looks like right now:

In order to make this experience truly risk-free, I recommend taking charge of your own hair and makeup. However, adding professional hair and makeup before your after dark session will still be an option for you at booking! If you decide to go ahead with a purchase at the time of your reveal session, we’ll be using the mini session investment menu with more petite options than in my usual sessions.
