Pin Up Sessions at Render Boudoir | A Modern Take on Vintage Style

This year I offered Pin Up mini sessions and it was 100% the cat’s pajamas, the bees knees, and everything in between! Flowers for hair, red for lips, Coca-cola in the bottle, we had it all! These short sessions were 40 minutes long, and it was the perfect amount of time to do the classic white backdrop shots plus do a more modern pin up look with the bedroom set. I am in love with how these turned out!

Jessica modeled her looks after Bettie Page. Um, nailed it! She treated herself to a retro viewfinder for her favorite images, so a lot of her favorites got a square crop.

Even our makeup artist, Natalie, got in on the fun.

These pin up minis were inspired by a session I did years ago with a friend of mine from the good old days of middle school. These images are a throwback to 2016, and they are a great reminder that you don’t have to wait for a themed session to come along that you love, you can bring whatever theme or aesthetic you love to your 90 min boudoir session. Here’s some of the awesomeness she brought to her session. I love the variety, and especially the film-noir style images we got. What’s your favorite pin up look?
